Some people are happy that the autumn is arrived, snatching up sweaters and cardigans, scouring a new line of boots and eagerly awaiting the return of pumpkin. They welcome the cooler weather and layered clothing. Others live in sandals, love staying active outdoors and when the weather drops below 16° C, complain about the freezing temperatures. To the former, congrats, your time is now. To the latter looking to continue that never-ending summertime feeling, how about checking out these warm destinations for the changing seasons.
Belize: Only about the size of New Hampshire and located in Central America on the Caribbean Sea, the little country of Belize boasts sunny tropical weather and spectacular beaches year-round. Belize is great for the adventurous traveler, its turquoise waters are home to three coral atolls: Glover’s Reef, Lighthouse Reef and Turneffe Islands. Beginners to experts can experience sea kayaking or snorkeling in its shallow reefs to see its abundance of marine species, not to mention snorkeling around its nearly sinkhole. Or maybe you just want to keep up that summer tan so your friends will be jealous upon your return, no problem, the white-sand beaches are happy to oblige.

Cape Town, South Africa: Cape Town is a surfer’s dream, specifically Jeffrey’s Bay where its waves are considered some of the best in the world. Tulum, Mexico: Tucked away on Mexico’s east coast, the city of Tulum is quickly growing into a coveted destination for luxury travelers. Previously a quiet beach town, the current vibe is still considerably low-key but now a fashionable city dressed in bohemian décor. Stylistas have taken up residence there, opening chic boutiques and small craftsmen shops along its coast. Tulum is also home to 15 pyramids inside an 11th-century walled city and boasts the most well-preserved ruins in the Western hemisphere. Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: If you’re the richest city in the world, you better be pretty impressive. True to their status, Abu Dhabi is a genuinely remarkable destination. And, from September through February, their hot weather turns down just enough so you aren’t sweltering, but are still able to enjoy the warm sunshine. While not the booming cosmopolitan city of Dubai, Abu Dhabi is making its way to the top and taking notes from its neighbor. Opened in 2010, Ferrari World is a car enthusiast’s playground, literally. With over 20 rides and attractions, thrill seekers can jump on the world’s fastest roller coaster or in the driver’s seat of a Ferrari F430 Spider replica to race other park visitors. If your need for speed is lacking, you can head over to the city’s newest luxury mall that features three levels of shops with brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Bulgari, Fendi, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Jimmy Choo and Diane von Furstenberg.
